[00:00:00.0]
Let's create a voiceover for Keynote.
[00:00:03.0]
We're going to use a program called Sound.
[00:00:06.0]
Sound is a program that records audio, and it ships with an application called Movie Works Deluxe.
[00:00:14.0]
You can use anything to record audio with, but we are using sound in this particular case.
[00:00:20.0]
If I click record and start talking or actually say some words, it'll actually record me as I'm speaking.
[00:00:31.0]
Now I could hit stop, and of course save this file.
[00:00:35.0]
Now that I'm saving this file, it's going to ask me what location do I wish to save it.
[00:00:40.0]
I'm going to save it on my desktop. I'm going to call it 'voice over sample'. I'll save it as a AIFF,
[00:00:49.0]
which is an audio file. Now, I'll just click save, and I'll close out this application,
[00:00:58.0]
and close out Sound from the menu and I'm going to move Keynote over,
[00:01:04.0]
because I saved the file on my desktop, and I'm going to drag the sound file to my Keynote application and there you go.
[00:01:15.0]
Here is my voice over file with my voice.
[00:01:19.0]
But there is one thing to remember - your voice will only play when the slide show is actually played.
[00:01:26.0]
So in the editing mode, you won't be able to hear your voice.
[00:01:30.0]
But if you play the slide show, you will be able to hear it.
[00:01:33.0]
[00:01:33.0]
ar it.
